Ok, discovered this place on a local food tour. The food and service were so amazing I e been trying to find a reason to go back for almost two months, and last night was it! Food remained amazing. We started with the "pie" sampler; admittedly it was not a sharing size with just one of each option. So, make sure you double up on the apps! I had the chicken shawarma entree and hubs had the kofta. Both were ample and amazing. Pro note, the side of pita bread is tasty and ample (I might order several of these in the future to replace the grocery store version). This is our new favorite go to location!
Wow, the food and the service were amazing! We had a sampler platter with hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, grape leaves, beef and chicken shawarma, spinach pie, sambousick (?) cheese and of course pitas. Go there! It's the best Mediterranean!

Great food, cozy atmosphere, wonderful and funny staff. The service wasn't always the most attentive but the overall quality of the food and the atmosphere certainly made up for it. 4 stars.
Advertising itself as Lebanese in a long string of ethnic eateries on King Street in Old Alexandria, the choices are bewildering to people who have not been to the Middle East. We shared a $17,25 plate of Falafel, Kibbeh, Tabouleh, Beef, and Chicken-- all authentically spiced, but rather dry. Probably the best beverage would have been a cold beer.
Amazing food, the Gyro and fries were amazing! Greatly recommended, and I'll be coming back if I'm back in town.
We stayed in Alexandria because I had a conference in DC and my mom came with me to see the sights since she has never been to the DC area. Across the street from where we were staying was this modest looking place called the Pita House Lebanese Food restaurant. We are so glad we went here. The lunch we had there on the first day shawarma, was so outstanding that we went back for dinner on our last night because my mom wanted to go back for her birthday. Again, it was outstanding. Oz was our server and made the experience even better than the amazing comfort food already did. It has already been decided that when we come back we will stay in the same spot largely because of this restaurant and the people there.
First time visiting this place and it won't be the last! The food was awesome, atmosphere was perfect, and service was amazing! My friend and I had a wonderful time and I can't wait to try more menu items. When you go make sure you ask for Oz, he was a delight!
